Telva at The Ridge will offer a rotating menu of pastries.

WEBSTER GROVES, Mo. — The family behind Balkan Treat Box on Wednesday will officially open its second concept, Telva at The Ridge.

The new counter-service café and coffee shop, with an adjoining event space, is located adjacent to Rolling Ridge Nursery at 60 N. Gore Ave. in Webster Groves, and will sell a variety of Balkan-inspired dishes, including wood-fired roasted coffee, salads, soups, pastries and open-faced sandwiches.

“Even though these might not be breakfast and lunch items that people have seen before, all the flavors are comforting and familiar, and we’re doing them in our own way,” co-owner and chef Loryn Nalic said in a statement.

James Beard semifinalist Loryn Nalic, with her husband, Edo Nalic, in 2017 launched Balkan Treat Box as a food truck before opening a brick-and-mortar restaurant, at 8103 Big Bend Blvd. in Webster Groves, in 2019.
