Bally Sports Midwest is getting a new name.

ST. LOUIS — The broadcast network that airs St. Louis Blues and has aired St. Louis Cardinals games is getting a new name.

Diamond Sports Group, the parent company of Bally Sports Midwest, said Friday it has entered into a naming rights agreement with online gambling company FanDuel. The deal, for which financial terms weren’t disclosed, gives New York-based FanDuel naming rights to Diamond Sports’ 16 regional sports networks. That includes Bally Sports Midwest, which will be renamed FanDuel Sports Network Midwest, effective Oct. 21.

The deal comes as Diamond is seeking to emerge from bankruptcy, with its future uncertain. Sports Business Journal reports the deal gives naming rights to FanDuel until the end of the National Basketball Association and National Hockey League season, and "FanDuel would formally commit to multi-year rights fee payments, minimum media and advertising spending, and on-air FanDuel-branded content," if Diamond Sports exits bankruptcy.
