CREVE COEUR, Mo. — Bayer AG on Wednesday said that it will sell another chunk of its Creve Coeur office complex while spending over $100 million to upgrade its remaining infrastructure there and at another office campus in Chesterfield.

Plans call for investments in research infrastructure including new laboratories, greenhouses and office space at the Chesterfield campus, a Bayer spokesperson said. At the Creve Coeur campus east of Lindbergh Boulevard and south of Olive Boulevard, spending will focus on state-of-the-art conferencing space, upgrades to work spaces and meeting rooms, and technology updates.

The corporation plans to put about 90 acres of its Creve Coeur campus on the market in September. The tract consists of 14 buildings totaling 838,000 square feet and 46 undeveloped acres. A Bayer spokesman said there is not an asking price. The company will accept offers.
