CHESTERFIELD, Mo. — SBR Bikes & Brews is moving to The District of St. Louis in Chesterfield.
The bike shop, which was formerly called Swim Bike Run, plans to close its current location at 14830 Clayton Road in Chesterfield on Feb. 26 and spend the following days transferring its inventory over to its new space, which is set to open March 1, said General Manager James Coudright.
Later in April, the shop plans to expand its offerings and open a coffee shop inside its new store at 17089 N. Outer 40 Road, at The District. SBR Bikes & Brews was inspired to open a coffeehouse in its new space after visiting other combined bike-and-coffee shops, and the company hopes its new offering will help to make the shop a community gathering space for bikers and non-bikers alike, Coudright said.
