ST. LOUIS — The St. Louis Blues have signed a minor league affiliate deal with a team owned by prominent businessman David Hoffmann.

The Estero, Florida-based Florida Everblades, which compete in the East Coast Hockey League, said Wednesday they have entered into a multi-year agreement to be a minor league affiliate of the Blues. The team will be an affiliate to the Blues and their “primary development affiliate,” the Springfield Thunderbirds of the American Hockey League, beginning with its 2024-25 season. The ECHL describes itself as a “AA” hockey league. The Blues had an ECHL affiliate, the Tulsa Oilers, from 2017 to 2020.

Financial terms of the affiliate agreement between the Blues and Everblades were not disclosed.
