ST. LOUIS — Brasswell, Gerard Craft’s fast-casual burger concept, is closing.
The concept, located inside Rockwell Beer Co. at 1320 S. Vandeventer Ave. in the city’s Botanical Heights neighborhood, opened alongside Rockwell in late 2018.
Rockwell will take over food operations at its brewery and tasting room on Thursday, with "a few local food trucks in rotation and delivery options from Sauce on the Side" available. "We'll have more news to share soon about our revamped food program," a Rockwell spokesperson said.
Rockwell and Craft’s Niche Food Group made the announcement in a joint statement Wednesday.
“We are grateful for the collaboration and partnership with Niche Food Group over the last five years,” Rockwell’s Director of Operations Dan Heaghney said in the statement. “We look forward to building upon the existing menu and expanding food offerings in the future.”
Rockwell in 2021 opened a beer garden, with food, at Francis Park in St. Louis Hills. It reported producing more than 2,200 barrels of beer in 2022.
