ST. LOUIS — The Four Seasons Hotel in downtown St. Louis announced Wednesday that Gerard Craft's Cinder House restaurant will close for good in January after a five-year partnership. Officials said the contract for Cinder House will expire Jan. 8.

"Gerard Craft is an amazing talent and huge champion of the St. Louis restaurant community, so we are thrilled to have collaborated with him on Cinder House," Alper Oztok, general manager of the Four Seasons, said in a statement. "Cinder House introduced St. Louis to the bold flavors of South American cuisine as well as the unique concept of live fire cooking. As our partnership comes to a close in early 2024, we look forward to seeing his next creative venture."

The Four Seasons will open a new dining concept in the second quarter of 2024, officials said. "The new restaurant will both further enrich the city's vibrant food scene as well as embrace the excellence, innovation, and creativity for which the Four Seasons brand is known," the statement said.
