ST. LOUIS — After an inaugural season in which it sold out every game at CityPark and became the hottest ticket in St. Louis, the leaders of Major League Soccer franchise St. Louis City SC said their focus in year two is on making the club and City Park accessible to more fans.
“It's true that this club has a very good problem, but it's a problem nonetheless. The good problem is that our stadium is completely sold every single week. That is not the reality for most MLS teams, or for most teams around the world,” said City SC President and General Manager Diego Gigliani, who joined the organization in July from City Football Group, the parent company of Manchester City FC in the English Premier League.
