ST. LOUIS — Good Company, a new cocktail bar and restaurant, will open this spring in the former home of Layla in The Grove.
The concept, at 4317 Manchester Ave., is from Jordan Goodman and his team at Good Ice, a premium ice company that supplies to local bars and restaurants including Lazy Tiger and The Lucky Accomplice, as well as home cocktail enthusiasts.
“I’ve been a part of several restaurant openings on the operations side, but never as an owner,” said Goodman, who most recently worked as beverage director for all Salt + Smoke locations and was previously a bar manager at O+O Hospitality, the restaurant group behind concepts including Olive and Oak and The Clover and The Bee.
In the years following Good Ice’s launch in January 2020, Goodman and his team began conceptualizing a cocktail bar that would prominently feature the company’s premium ice.
