ST. LOUIS — An Italian market on The Hill is looking to expand.
DiGregorio’s Italian Market, at the corner of Marconi and Daggett avenues in the Italian neighborhood, is looking to expand on property next to the market, which is located at 5200 Daggett Ave., city documents show.
Full details of the expansion were not available. In order to expand on the property next to the family-owned market, two houses owned by John DiGregorio, a member of the family that owns the market, would have to be demolished, according to the agenda of the St. Louis Preservation Board. The panel, which would have to approve the demolition, meets Monday.
