ST. LOUIS — Riccardo’s on Broadway, an Italian restaurant near downtown St. Louis, has closed.

The restaurant, at 1432 N. Broadway on the Near North Riverfront, said in a social media post Tuesday it had closed. The restaurant said its closure isn’t “due to a lack of business or support” from customers but is instead because of a lease “dispute” with its landlord.

Riccardo’s, in its social media post, did not provide further details regarding the dispute. It did not respond to a request for further comment. The restaurant space at 1432 N. Broadway is owned by a business entity tied to John Larrison, who owned biker bar Shady Jack's Saloon that operated at the site until its closure in 2022. Larrison couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.
