EARTH CITY, Mo. — The Los Angeles Rams are looking to capitalize on their option to buy Rams Park in Earth City, the team's practice facility when it was located in St. Louis, for $1, according to court documents.

But St. Louis, through the entity that owns Rams Park and the Dome at America's Center, is again contesting the team's right, spelled out in its original lease that brought it to St. Louis in 1995.

The owner, a Missouri-created entity with representation from the state, city of St. Louis and St. Louis County, on Friday filed suit in St. Louis Circuit Court against the Rams.

The suit says that the team on Oct. 15 this year requested that the owner, the Regional Convention and Sports Complex Authority, provide a quit claim deed transfer of Rams Park, located at 1 Athletic Drive.
