ST. LOUIS — The new Target store in Midtown will open July 21, the Minneapolis-based retailer said Wednesday.
Target’s 72,000-square-foot store at 900 S. Grand Blvd. will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. It is located on the ground floor of a $60 million mixed-use development from St. Louis-based Pier Property Group.
Target’s Midtown location, located near Saint Louis University, will have 95 employees. It is a smaller-format store compared with the retailer’s average store format of 125,000 square feet. Target has 170 smaller-format stores, with about 30 of those near college campuses, the retailer said on its website. The Midtown location will include a CVS Pharmacy, Starbucks Café and an Ulta Beauty at Target. Target said the store includes a mural from St. Louis artist Cbabi Bayoc depicting the Missouri flag and local rivers.
