CREVE COEUR, Mo. — The design of the new $40 million First Bank headquarters provides a workspace that prioritizes employee wellness and “encourages flexibility, comfort and collaboration,” said Michael Dierberg, chairman of First Bank and its holding company FB Corp.
Employees began to move late last week into the four-story glass building at 11901 Olive Blvd. in Creve Coeur. On Tuesday, the bank held an event to mark the opening.
“Whether it’s today or 50 years from now, this building will be the meeting place for First Bank colleagues because it’s built around the idea of yes, maybe sometimes you’re working from home. But a lot of times you’re coming together and seeing each other,” Dierberg said.
Demolition of the previous headquarters, which opened in 1967, and construction of the 87,000-square-foot HQ began in November 2022.
