Old Atomic Cowboy property in The Grove to get new music venue, restaurant

A new venue is slated to open at the former Atomic Cowboy, located at 4140 Manchester Ave.

ST. LOUIS — A new music venue and restaurant is slated to open this fall at the former Atomic Cowboy property in The Grove.

St. Louis-based concert promoter Jamo Presents is opening Atomic by Jamo, located at 4140 Manchester Ave. in the city’s Forest Park Southeast neighborhood, which includes the Grove district. Atomic by Jamo will be a “multi-room entertainment complex” that includes two event spaces, a cocktail bar, nightclub and restaurant, a new release said.

Atomic Cowboy, a restaurant and music venue that was owned by Chop Schloss, closed in 2020 after opening its doors in 2004. Drew Jameson, founder of Jamo Presents, worked for Atomic Cowboy from 2015 to 2020.
