ST. LOUIS — Hundreds of Kansas City Chiefs fans every Sunday during football season flock to Weber’s Front Row, the Webster Groves bar and restaurant that serves as home field for the St. Louis Chiefs, a group of self-described diehard Chiefs fans living in the St. Louis region.

The noise inside falls short of levels inside Arrowhead Stadium during Chiefs games, but not by much.

“I have a decibel meter I bought, and the highest we’ve ever hit on it is 114.3,” said Kendel Beard, who co-founded the St. Louis Chiefs and is better known to group members as “Papa Chief.” “It’s not as loud as Arrowhead,” which in 2014 set the world record for loudest crowd roar at a stadium at 142.2 decibels, "but 114 inside a bar still pretty much sounds like a jet engine.”
