COLLINSVILLE, Ill. — Two locations of a fast-food restaurant chain have closed in the past three weeks.

The Long John Silver's locations are in Missouri and Illinois.

Following the closure of the Long John Silver’s restaurant in Arnold on Aug. 11, a combined location of Long John Silver’s and A&W in Collinsville closed Friday.

Signs had been removed from the Collinsville location at 379 N. Bluff Road on Tuesday, with workers inside saying they were closing the location.

The 2,777-square-foot building and property, near the Home Depot and Walmart in the Collinsville Crossing shopping area, is owned by an LLC registered to the San Diego address of Realty Income Corp., a real estate investment trust, care of the Long John Silver’s corporate office in Louisville, Kentucky, Madison County and state records show. It last sold for $1.3 million in 2013, from Treasure Isles Inc., the original franchise operator of the restaurant.
