O'FALLON, Ill. — A soap, bath and skin care products franchise opened Friday in Metro East.
Magnolia Soap & Bath Co., at 1413 W. Highway 50 in O’Fallon, Illinois, is owned and operated by local franchisees Warren and Erica Cage. The new store marks the husband-and-wife duo’s first in the St. Louis region, but they have “big plans” to open more locations, Erica said.
The Cages first discovered Magnolia while traveling last August: “We just fell in love with the products, specifically the laundry products,” Erica Cage said. “I tried them and said, ‘We have to invest in this.’”
The following month, the couple reached out to a recruiter, who connected them to the Mississippi-based company. After attending a “discovery day” to learn more about the business, the couple signed a multi-unit franchising deal in October. Their territory encompasses an approximately 30-mile radius that includes Metro East, Cage said.
