ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — Social Bar and Grill has closed its south St. Louis County location.
The restaurant, at 4265 Reavis Barracks Road, said in a Facebook post that it will not be renewing its lease due to the deteriorating condition its building.
“Despite our best efforts and substantial personal investments in repairs that the landlord refused to make year after year, the necessary critical structural work has been continuously overlooked by the property management,” Social’s owners wrote. “By doing so, they have compromised the safety and standards we uphold for our team, our customers and our own families.”
The sports bar, known for its servers who wear only body paint and pasties from the waist up, is looking for a new space in which to reopen, according to the Facebook post.
