CHICAGO — The St. Louis Blues will play in the team's third Winter Classic, this time in the 2024-2025 season, according to a new report, catapulting the club into one of the National Hockey League's premier events.
The Chicago Sun-Times, citing a source, reported Tuesday that the Chicago Blackhawks will host the Blues at Wrigley Field, home of Major League Baseball's Chicago Cubs, next season. It said an announcement would come Wednesday.
The game would mark the third Winter Classic for the Blues, who hosted a 2017 game against the Blackhawks at Busch Stadium. The team also traveled to Minnesota, playing the Wild at Target Field, in 2022. The Blues won both games.
