ST. LOUIS — Irish bar and restaurant Nick’s Pub and sister restaurant SOHA Bar and Grill are under new ownership.

A Sept. 14 social media post from restaurateur Bob Brazell said the two south St. Louis restaurants have been purchased. The restaurants’ new operators include Brazell and La Gra Associates LLC, said an attorney listed on filings for business entities related to each restaurant.

La Gra Associates is tied to Richard DeStefane, owner and president of long-term care facility operator Reliant Care Management LLC. Brazell and DeStafane have been business partners in other restaurants, including Tamm Avenue Bar in the city's Dogtown area, The Tenderloin Room at Chase Park Plaza and chicken concept Byrd & Barrel. Brazell didn’t respond to a request for comment about the acquisition of Nick’s Pub and SOHA Bar and Grill.

Nick’s Pub, 6001 Manchester Ave. in Cheltenham, opened in 1996 and boasts of having 101 beers available on tap.
