ST. LOUIS — The unusually cold November temperatures will continue through Wednesday, followed by a warm up for the rest of the week.
St. Louis is stuck in the deep freeze after 1 to 2 inches of snow fell across the area on Monday.
Temperatures fell to 16 degrees Monday night, breaking the daily record low of 18 from 1911. Tuesday morning was even colder, with a low of 11 so far, breaking the 1911 record of 12 degrees.
The weather remains cold, with high temperatures in the 20s under a sunny sky on Tuesday. Wind chill temperatures will be in the single digits and teens through the day in the St. Louis area.
Expect another cold night for St. Louis, followed by a warming trend for Wednesday and through the rest of the week.
No major snow or rain storms are in the forecast.
