EAST ALTON, Ill. — A child was struck by a car and rushed to a hospital Friday.
The East Alton fire chief confirmed that East Alton fire crews responded to the crash on the 400 block of North Center Street.
The child was airlifted to a hospital in St. Louis. Their condition was not immediately known.
