Problem causing Commerce Bank customers to have issues with deposits has been resolved

ST. LOUIS — An issue that caused Commerce Bank customers to have issues with deposits on Friday has been resolved, the bank said. 

Commerce Bank's mobile and online banking systems were also fully operational by late Friday evening.

According to a spokesperson from the bank, it encountered an unexpected system issue during nightly processing and the issue impacted customers’ deposit account current balances.

Friday morning, the bank shared the following message to its Facebook:

‘We want our customers to know that the issue affecting deposit account current balances is actively being resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience and any Commerce Bank fees incurred as a result of the issue will be reversed.’
