The murder case of Jocelyn Peters, the pregnant teacher who was shot and killed in her CWE home Thursday, is still under investigation.
The shooter is still on the loose.
Meanwhile, Peters was set to sing in her choir at the Journey Church on Easter Sunday.
She was an active member there.
On what's supposed to be a celebratory time as for members as they prepare for service, the mood was of course rather somber.
The lead pastor actually talked with the choir before the Saturday’s service. He says right now everyone's just at a loss for words.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at the Journey. Mann Elementary School will cancel classes on Wednesday to allow students and staff to attend the funeral services. The day will be made up on Friday, May 27.
