BELLEFONTAINE NEIGHBORS, Mo. — A St. Louis woman was killed and three other people were injured in a crash early Friday morning in north St. Louis County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, St. Louis County police notified troopers at about 3 a.m. about a two-car crash on Lewis and Clark Boulevard near Haviland Drive in Bellefontaine Neighbors.
According to a crash report, a Chevrolet Malibu driven by a 25-year-old woman crossed into the northbound lanes and struck a car driven by 49-year-old Cherish Wright head-on.
Wright was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two 12-year-old girls — one in Wright's car and one in the Malibu — were taken along with the driver of the Malibu to an area hospital, all with serious injuries.
