MANCHESTER, Mo. — Police are investigating the suspicious death of a man whose body was found in a Queeny Township creek Thursday morning, the St. Louis County Police Department said.
Officers responded to the scene near the intersection of South Weidman Road and Prospect Village outside of Manchester, the department said. The officers discovered the man's body in the creek and pronounced him dead at the scene.
There is no obvious cause of death, but investigators believe the death was likely accidental. It's unknown how long the body was in the creek, but an autopsy is expected to reveal that information.
