BRIGHTON, Ill. — A driver was killed in a single-car crash Sunday afternoon in Jersey County.
According to Illinois State Police, troopers responded at about 4:30 p.m. Sunday to a deadly crash off of Illinois Route 111, in front of Nilo Farms in Brighton. A vehicle had left the roadway and crashed into a tree.
The driver was taken to an area hospital, where they were later pronounced dead, according to ISP.
No other information was available as of Monday morning.
