An Ellisville police officer is raising money for a Rock Hill police officer shot and paralyzed six years ago.
Officer Chuck Kraus is helping organize a dining out for Matt Crosby fundraiser.
Crosby was shot while responding to a domestic dispute in 2010. The injury left him paralyzed.
Organizers are raising money to build Crosby a specially equipped smart home.
The dining out event is on January 12. which is Matt Crosby's birthday. So far more than a dozen restaurants have signed up to donate a portion of their proceeds.
