ST. CHARLES, Mo. – School leaders are investigating after a student made a racist "promposal" poster, copying a post that went viral out of Florida.
In a statement from the Francis Howell School District, they said they were made aware of the sign from a social media post. The statement said the school can not discuss discipline of specific students, but the student would "receive consequences in accordance with the FHSD Code of Student Conduct"
The poster appears to copy the wording of a promposal out of Sarasota, Florida, that went viral over the weekend.

This afternoon building administrators at Francis Howell High School were made aware of an inappropriate student post on social media. The post copied the wording of a racist “promposal’ in Florida that went viral over the weekend. The incident is being investigated, and while the District cannot share information about the discipline of specific students, any student that uses demeaning speech and language will receive consequences in accordance with the FHSD Code of Student Conduct.The Francis Howell School District and Francis Howell High School work to promote inclusion, acceptance, and equality for all students and staff. Any students or staff members that need help processing their emotions after this incident will be able to talk with school and/or educational support counselors at the high school.
