FLORISSANT, Mo. — A Florissant man had a surprise reunion with his son today, after a 9-month-long deployment.
The U.S. Army deployed Capt. Cody Reeb to Afghanistan 9 months ago, 33 days after his son was born.
Reeb returned to the states this week.
His plan was to drop in on his parents in Florissant, then fly home to his wife and son in New York City.
But his wife Lauren had other plans.
She and their son Wyatt flew to Florissant from New York to welcome him home.
The 10-month-old held up a sign reading, "295 days on earth. 262 of them spent missing you".
The couple just celebrated their third anniversary on June 6.
