FLORISSANT, Mo. — A Friday afternoon shooting near a shopping center has left one person dead, authorities said.
The Florissant Police Department said officers responded at 3:15 p.m. to a call for shots fired on the 8300 block of Lindbergh Boulevard.
When police arrived to a parking lot area, they found a person dead with a gunshot wound.
The area is near a Schnucks, Wendy's, Phillips 66 gas station and other businesses.
Police said "investigators are currently interviewing persons of interest as they work diligently on this case."
