ST. LOUIS – Part of Forest Park Parkway will close this weekend so street crews can demolish he DeBaliviere bridge as part of the Loop Trolley construction project.
On Friday at 8 p.m., westbound Forest Park Parkway will close at Euclid Avenue in the Central West End while the eastbound lanes will close at Skinker Boulevard. Crews will work day and night through Sunday to tear down the bridge deck.
MetroLink will not operate at the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station from the start of MetroLink service Saturday through the end of service Sunday. Metro will transport riders between the Skinker, Delmar Loop, Forest Park DeBaliviere, and Central West End stations using bus shuttles. Passengers should add an additional 20 minutes to commute times.
Work on the DeBaliviere bridge at Debaliviere Avenue and Forest Park Parkway will continue through September 2015.
