Free movie screening, concert promote breast cancer awareness

ST. LOUIS — A popular folk and bluegrass duo is hosting two events in St. Louis that promote breast cancer awareness and care.

Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer are screening their musical comedy, "All Wigged Out The Musical" for free on Friday at Hi-Point Theater. The screening is Friday at 7 p.m.

The movie goes through the stages and feelings of breast cancer diagnosis. A discussion will follow the screening with Fink, Marxer, Dr. Jovita Oruwari with SSM Health and representatives from Cancer Community Support and The Cancer Action Network, American Cancer Society.

Fink and Marxer are also performing a live concert at Epiphany UCC on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. The church is collecting household items for residents of Hope Lodge.
