GBI Resource fair for Guaranteed Basic Income pilot program participants

The event happens Saturday, Jan. 13, at 11 a.m., at the Busch Student Center at St. Louis University.

ST. LOUIS — The treasurer's office of the City of St. Louis will host the Empower 2024 Resource Fair resource fair on Sat., Jan. 13.

The City of St. Louis is joining 20 community partners to make a collective impact for Guaranteed Basic Income (GBI) Pilot Program recipients, applicants, and communities in need. 

Drop by and get onsite utility assistance, free COVID-19 vaccines, HeadStart support, a free cell phone or tablet, and more.

The event will help get families connected as part of the Affordable Connectivity Program with device giveaways that include 3,500 square feet of broadband coverage to dismantle the digital divide.

Attendees can gain valuable insights into career, finance and health.

Residents will walk away with the resources to start the year off right.

Meet Cedric the Entertainer and Freddie Figgers. Both will make appearances at the event.

It all starts at 11 a.m. at the Busch Student Center in the Wool Ballroom at St. Louis University. That's at 20 North Grand in the city of St. Louis.
