ST. LOUIS — The biggest day for donations for St. Louis is here!
On Thursday, May 9, hundreds of area nonprofits are participating in Give STL Day, sponsored by the St. Louis Community Foundation.
St. Louis is one of the most generous cities in the country.
This year’s campaign includes some new activities, including a kick-off party at the Armory on May 8. The event also included St. Louis-themed trivia where individuals and teams could play to win a portion of a $10,000 prize pool for their favorite nonprofit.
For years, 5 On Your Side has been a big supporter of Give STL Day, and we want you to help too!

What are Power Hours?
During Give STL Day, there will be Power Hours every three hours, starting at 9 a.m., noon, 3 p.m., 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.
During a Power Hour, every nonprofit that receives a donation during that hour will get a boost of money equally distributed.
How Much Money?
During the 9 a.m. and noon Power Hours, $30,000 will be equally distributed to all nonprofits who received a donation during those hours. During the 3 p.m., 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Power Hours, $20,000 will be equally distributed to all nonprofits who received a donation during those hours.
