COLLINSVILLE, Ill. (KSDK) – The Illinois Department of Transportation has closed a roadway in Grafton due to the flooding.
According to IDOT, Illinois 100 has been shut down, and drivers will need to use IL 3, IL 109 and IL 16 as detours.
Rivers have been rising across the area due to heavy rain conditions in the upper Midwest region.
IDOT expects IL 3 to be impacted with closures next.
Calhoun, Greene, Jersey, Madison and Randolph counties is being monitored closely for flooding.
Waters are expected to crest in Lincoln County, Mo. and Clarksville, Mo. in the next few days.
