ST. LOUIS — A south St. Louis Schnucks is recalling certain products containing ground sausage that may contain plastic.
The recall includes fresh ground sausage and bratwursts sold at the store located at 60 Hampton Village Plaza. The products were sold before 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 18 and had a sell-by date of Sept. 22.
The affected products include:
- Schnucks Italian Sausage; 1-2 lb. packages;
- Schnucks Sweet Italian Sausage; 1- 2lb. packages;
- Schnucks Original Bratwurst Links; 5 links in pack; and
- Schnucks Oktoberfest Beer Bratwurst Links; 5 links in pack.
The incident does not affect other Schnucks stores.
Customers can return the product to the Hampton Village store for a full refund or exchange.
