MADISON COUNTY, Ill. — Two people, including an Illinois Department of Transportation worker, were injured in a crash Wednesday morning in Madison County.
According to Illinois State Police, troopers responded at 9:18 a.m. on Illinois Route 255 at Fosterburg Road for a crash involving an IDOT mower tractor and another vehicle.
Both drivers were transported to area hospitals with injuries. Police did not provide an update on their conditions as of Wednesday evening.
Both lanes were shut down but were reopened late Wednesday morning.
No further information was released regarding the incident.
