ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Ill — Illinois State Police are investigating a death reported at a rest stop along Interstate 64 Wednesday afternoon.
Officers responded for a death investigation shortly before 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Gateway rest area on eastbound I-64 in St. Clair County.
No other information was released regarding the identity of the victim or cause of death as of Wednesday evening.
An investigation is ongoing.
