JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. — Two women were taken into custody after a stolen car and gun were recovered in Jefferson County.
Tuesday morning, a deputy was patrolling The Falls at Little Creek neighborhood when he spotted a car parked in the street.
The car was identified as one that failed to stop earlier in the morning. When the deputy approached the car, three people jumped out and fled the area.
The car was reported stolen out of Illinois and a gun was found inside.
During this time, a BMW was also stolen nearby. Police do not know if the two are connected.
Two women have been taken into custody and deputies are still searching for the third suspect.
