The Press Club selects honorees based on professional conduct and accomplishment. The four honorees will be roasted at the gala, which will include a reception, dinner, and program.
Jennifer spent 42 years in television, and 35 of them were here at KSDK-TV. She started here as a weekend weathercaster and weekday reporter in December 1979 before helping KSDK launch its first morning newscast in the early 1980s. She was the show's sole anchor before being paired up with Tom O'Neal. In 1989 she was paired up with Art Holliday for a decades-long partnership.

The Blome/Holliday team broke up in September 2011 and Pat McGonigle filled the seat left by Art, who moved to another shift.
In March 2014 Jennifer announced her retirement from television. In a piece written for KSDK.com, McGonigle described "The Jennifer Blome Way," and what it was like spending two and a half years anchoring with a St. Louis TV icon, calling Jennifer the "gold standard in morning television."
Jennifer is currently serving as director of humane education at the APA of Missouri. Her passion for animals showed during her time at KSDK when she created Sammy's Stars, a daily morning show segment that features animals available for adoption. Because of her efforts, hundreds of homeless animals now have forever homes.
Congratulations Jennifer!
