JENNINGS, Mo. -- Monday night, the Jennings City Council will take another step toward possibly impeaching the mayor.
In November, the council passed a motion to begin impeachment proceedings against newly-elected mayor Yolanda Fountain-Henderson.
Monday, the council will vote on whether to reach out to two attorneys who would help with those proceedings.
Meanwhile, Fountain-Henderson has called for the suspension of two council members -- Rodney and Carol Epps, who are husband and wife -- accusing them of health insurance fraud. Henderson claims the couple collected full-time benefits while only working part-time.
