Some of the best police K9 units from all over the state are putting on a free demonstration Thursday at 7 p.m. at Mueller Park in St. Charles.
Law enforcement duos like St. Charles Police Officer Dan Allen and his partner, 'Nitro', a 3-year-old German Shepherd will be talking and giving demonstrations.
The K9 squads have been training at various locations in St. Charles and look forward to showing off their expert techniques at Thursday night's show.
A German Shepherd puppy will also be raffled to benefit injured Hazelwood Police Officer Craig Tudor.
Organizers encourage spectators to bring a lawn chair to Mueller Park for the K9 demonstration.
