A new charter school is opening its doors in north St. Louis after relocating.
La Salle Middle School, a charter school sponsored by the University of Missouri, relocated to 1106 North Jefferson Ave.
The school is now in what used to be a vacant school and will accommodate nine classrooms, including one designed for high school preparation and college-support programs.
The school said its curriculum is based on individualized instruction with smaller classes of no more than 20 students.
