Ladue city council expands window peeping law to include drones

A member of the city council said the change was not in response to any incident, but to proactively protect residents from future problems.

LADUE, Mo. – Punishments for people peeking into someone else's home now extends to people doing it remotely using a drone or other device in Ladue.

On Tuesday, the Ladue City Council unanimously passed an ordinance that would extend a section of the city code entitled "Window Peeping" to include people peeking "by means of devices within that person's control."

A member of the city council said the change was not in response to any incident, but to proactively protect residents from future problems.
