Lake St. Louis announces new police chief

Chris DiGiuseppi will succeed Mike Force, who is retiring after 25 years of service as Lake St. Louis' chief law enforcement officer.

The Mayor of Lake St. Louis announced the city's first news police chief in 25 years.

Chris DiGiuseppi will succeed Mike Force, who is retiring after 25 years of service as Lake St. Louis' chief law enforcement officer.

DiGiuseppi has been a police officer for 24 years and has been the Assistant Chief of Police in Lake St. Louis for the last 17 years. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Resources Management and a Master of Business Administration degree, both from Lindenwood University.

DiGiuseppi will start in his new role on Aug. 11.
