These local 4-year-old boys are competing in the USA Mullet Championships

Landon and Bohdi are turning heads with their unique hairstyles. Here's how you can vote for them.

ST. LOUIS — Two St. Louis-area four-year-olds are gaining national attention for their mullet haircuts. 

Bohdi Fisher and Landon Brown are among 33 finalists ages 4 and under competing in Round 2 of the USA Mullet Championships. The contest pays tribute to the "business in the front, party in the back" haircut, with the most fabulous mullets coming out on top.

Millstadt, Illinois, native Bohdi is a cool, confident and wild surfer dude "with a haircut that looks like it was styled by a hurricane," according to his bio on the competition's website. He's had his mullet, "The Swayze Special," for as long as he can remember, and it represents fun, freedom and Patrick Swayze.

Landon Brown is competing in the USA Mullet Championships.

Landon of Moscow Mills, Missouri, is known as "Landimal" because he's a wild child, according to his bio. He's been growing his hair out since birth, and the mullet spans generations, passed down from his grandfather and father.

Both Bohdi and Landon have pledged to support Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors if they win the contest. The nonprofit builds mortgage-free, accessible homes for military veterans wounded in combat, according to its website.

Round 2 of voting closes next Wednesday, July 31. The top 25 contestants in each category will move on to the final round of voting, with winners chosen by celebrity judges.
