ST. CHARLES, Mo. – The Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis is investigating after a body was found in St. Charles Friday night.
Around 7:30 p.m., the body of a man was found lying on the sidewalk in the 800 block of N. 2nd Street by someone who was passing by.
After the witness called police, officers arrived on the scene and first responders arrived shortly after.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the cause of death is not being released at this time, but they are calling this a homicide.
The victim hasn't been identified but police describe the victim as a white man, 30-40 years old having a mustache and goatee.
The man was wearing a black hoodie with the word 'beast' and the Nike swoosh logo, blue jeans, a black stocking cap and blue tennis shoes.
He also has a large cross tattoo on the inside of his left forearm.
