ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. — A St. Charles County man admitted to investigators that he received child sexual abuse materials from three teenage girls after lying to them about his age online, according to a written statement from the U.S. Attorney's Office of the Eastern District of Missouri.
A resident of Foristell, Missouri, 27-year-old Tristan M. Davis, pleaded guilty to three counts of coercing and enticing a minor and three counts of receiving child sexual abuse materials. He faces at least 15 years of prison time.
Multiple reports to law enforcement about Davis prompted an investigation by the St. Charles County Police Department and the FBI. It revealed Davis was sexually communicating with multiple minors, exchanging sexual materials with them.
"Davis initially lied about his age when communicating with a 14-year-old girl in New York state, a 16-year-old Connecticut girl and a 15-year-old Tennessee girl," the U.S. Attorney's office said in a written statement. "Davis received child (sexual abuse materials) from all three victims and induced or persuaded them into engaging in sexually explicit conduct with him via social media."
Davis used the screen names "muffinman130020" and "bacontaxi" while engaging the victims.
Sentencing has been scheduled to take place on July 19.
The coercion and enticement of a minor charge has a mandatory minimum prison sentence of 10 years; the maximum is a life sentence. The receiving child sexual abuse material charges each carry a sentence of 5 to 20 years.
